Are you tight-fisted/ a penny-pincher or fritter money away? Do you live beyond your means or within your means? Have you ever paid over the odds for something? What was it and why? Do you save for the rainy days? Do you like to splash out on nice things? Can you give an example of something that costs/cost an arm and a leg? Something that you pay/paid through the nose for? Do you know people who live from hand to mouth? Situation Game How would you spend a day in your city/town/village without spending any money? What activities could you do? You’re not allowed to stay at home, you have to be out of the house for the whole day. Come up with a plan of the day – from 10am until 8pm. You are allowed to drink water from city water fountains and any food that you find. Present your plans at the end of this activity – making sure that everyone in the group gets a chance to speak.
