How to Use the News Generator

1. Click on FETCH LATEST NEWS

• It will give you the title and the main points of the news. Please be patient. It takes a few seconds for the system to pull real news from the internet and to summarise the main points.
• It will give you a related imaginary scenario
• You will receive a number of discussion questions and key vocabulary pertaining to the topic.
• Your students can answer the discussion questions from the point of view of the scenario. Or, alternatively, you can disregard the scenario altogether and just discuss the discussion points.

2. Practice Corner

• An optional activity is for your students to write a summary. The AI tool will evaluate their writing in terms of content and language.
