Scenario background: A small project team is having a weekly video call to discuss marketing updates.
Elena: Welcome everyone. Let’s look at the new social media plan. Mark, do you want to start?
Mark: Yes, sure. I think we need to focus on our new strategy…
Tomas: Sorry to interrupt. Mark, your microphone is very quiet. Can you hold on a moment while I turn up my volume?
Mark: No problem. Tell me when you are ready.
Tomas: Okay, that is better. Please go on.
Mark: Thanks. As I was saying, we need to focus on video content. If anyone has ideas about platforms, please join in.
Elena: Hang on a second, let me just pull up last month’s report. We did well on Instagram.
Mark: Exactly. So, I suggest we increase that budget.
Elena: I like that idea. Tomas, what do you think? Please go ahead and share your thoughts.
Tomas: I agree, but we are going to run out of money if we are not careful.
Elena: Good point. Sadly we are going to run out of time today, so let’s discuss the budget tomorrow.
